BATIK'S BY DORTE CHRISTJANSEN

This artist has a Masters Degree in Art/Illustration and currently is a Professor of the Art Department at California State University in Fullerton California from 1989 to present.  Her work has been published in numerous publications, such as "Exploring Visual Design", "Expressive Water Color Techniques", "The Fiber Arts Design Book", "Fiber Arts", "Visual Dialogue" and "The Art of Sketching".  She has also performed commissioned work as Illustrator for the Betty Clooney Foundation for persons with brain injury.

All batik hangings are mounted between two clear plexiglass panels that are screwed together from the backside, enabling hanging to be removed for cleaning, if desired.  These plexiglass panels are included in the prices shown below.
