Cancer Journal of 6/25/2009 I may Not be in Remission Anymore - tests pending. Cat Scan shows enlargement of some lymph nodes. (I was diagnosed with incurable inoperable lung cancer in November 2006. I started chemo in beginning of December and by end of January it appears all tumors (2) disappeared and I was in full remission of cancer. The definitive CAT scan reflected this also in February 2007. In December 2007 my close Brother in Law was diagnosed with lung cancer having spread to the esophagus with large tumor cutting off his air. His case was so much more severe and life threatening and many times it did not appear he was going to live through the surgeries and treatments. But thanks be to God he did live through it and is now in partial remission, meaning he does not still have active cancer sites but debris of the cancer remains at sites. We both attribute our preservation because of the prayers of St. Anthony Marie Claret, the patron saint of my uncle's priestly order, and who's relic we both had on hand to pray with and the mercy of a loving God.. It is astounding that two members of the same family, though removed by blood, should have the same disease at the same time and both live into remission. We give this glory to God.) To my many friends in cyberspace and those that I am far from in physical presence, I thought it might be easier for you to know what is happening to me in my posting in one spot and save me from having to email everyone when I don't know how I will be feeling in the future. So I have arranged pages according to the months and they read in ascendancy. I have included some pictures of me and family in some of the pages This also turned into a blog on my BIL's cancer as well. I do have some beads made that I will start to offer on Ebay - so look for them on my ebay sales under Maureen14. |
