"Orbitron Kaleidowave"
A freestanding kaleidoscopic fountain. Two illuminated water trays are fed by small jets of water that push a selection of marbles, chosen by the viewer, randomly about the view trays. The kaleidoscope eyetubes are fixed to extend under each tray's water surface, so the viewers may observe the marbles "dance". When a beautiful dichroic marble is floated weightless by a fountain of gently babbling water, it moves the marble randomly while the water continues it's way across and down a weathered brass column. This takes place in front of a pair of kaleidoscopic tubes, one holding two mirrors while the other holds three, allowing simultaneous viewing of spectacular proportions.
